Unconfirmed reports from Spain suggest that Portuguese international Fabio Coentrão could move to the Premier League this month. Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly fed up with the 24-year-old and is ready to offload him.

Coentrão was recently fined by the club after arriving late to a training session. This issue was the latest in a series of disciplinary issues that have landed the left-back in trouble.

Coentrão has struggled to live up to the 30 million Euros transfer that brought him to the Spanish capital from Benfica. Coentrão was one of the best performers for Portugal at Euro 2012 but has failed to produce the same form with his current club.

Chelsea is reportedly looking to replace Ashley Cole who may want out of Stamford Bridge. Manchester City have used Gael Clichy and Aleksander Kolarov at the position this season, but might look at Coentrão as an ungrade. Tottenham have also shown interest in Coentrão.
