FC Porto will face Spanish club Malaga in the second leg of their Champions League matchup on Wednesday night. Vitor Pereira’s club go into Spain with a slight lead after defeating Malaga 1-0 on a goal by João Moutinho in the first leg.

Pereira told media on Tuesday that is club will not sit comfortably on their slight advantage. “Our club do not defend just to get a result. Our DNA is clear: We like to have the ball in order to control the game, we like to press and disrupt the opposing team’s game plan. We are extremely competitive and ambitious,” Pereira said.

“Malaga is behind a goal and we know that if we score first, we will put enormous pressure on them. Our objective is to score goals and I believe we will score at La Rosaleda,” Pereira added.

Porto will welcome back Moutinho and central defender Eliaquim Mangala who have each missed recent matches due to injury. Highly taunted winger James Rodriguez will also be available for the Cidade Invicta side as they hope to advance.
